AvalonQuant Weekly is sent only after you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in); unconfirmed sign-ups receive nothing else and the link expires after 7 days. We store your email address, where you signed up, and when you signed up, confirmed, or unsubscribed, and use them only to send this newsletter and prevent abuse. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the address is never sold or shared for marketing. Emails are delivered through a third-party email delivery provider acting on our behalf. To have your record deleted, contact us through the support page.
The free AvalonQuant app can send error reports when a strategy check fails, only if you turn this on (it asks once; you can turn it off any time in Settings). A report contains the kind of error, the broker's error code and its message with every number, id, key, email and IP address removed, the app and strategy versions, the exchange or broker, paper or live, your operating system type, and a random id created for that install. It never contains API keys, balances, positions, orders, account numbers or personal details. Reports you send yourself with "Send a report" add your own description and, only if you tick the box, the app's recent log, cleaned the same way. We store reports grouped by problem to count how often it happens and to fix it; the address a report comes from is used only to limit abuse and is not stored with it.
The public site must not collect customer exchange API keys, account balances, private orders, raw fills, or customer-managed trading credentials.
